Michael remembers his first performance and waits in the wings as if it is the first time again. Inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Beginning is the second in a trilogy of works deconstructing Shakespearean stage directions. The Beginning will be developed in Spring 2012 at Lakeside Arts Centre (Nottingham), Leeds Met Studio Theatre and The Junction (Cambridge). Supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
