A series of stories about people walking in and out of a foyer space. Michael writes on an index card for each person he sees. He writes until that person leaves his field of vision. Each card represents the start of a story. Each story represents a journey. Each journey is incomplete. The text becomes a dramaturgy of the space, continuing Michael’s ongoing investigations into the role of the ‘outside eye’. Commissioned by Open Space at Axis Arts Centre, MMU Crewe.
