To mark the end of The Long and Winding Road in 2009, Michael returned to The Bluecoat in Liverpool with the remains of the car after it had been immersed in the River Mersey and crushed. He spent three days wrapping up 365 fragments of the car to create an installation of mementos exhibited alongside a film of the end of the road. Supported by The Bluecoat and the University of Chester.
